Tohato Bakun Habanero Ring Chips

If you like hot then these must be for you!! These Habanero rings are super hot! Just looking at the package makes you feel warm. Great way to warm up here in Japan in houses without central heating!! The Habanero pepper, from Yucatan, Mexico, has a slightly fruity flavor, but is 80 times hotter than a jalapeno pepper and 10 times hotter than Tabasco sauce. These aren't for the faint at heart!! :) (55gram bag of "heat" sent from Japan to you directly!) *If you'd like to see a cool movie on how they make these chips you can visit the Tohato Website. Right now there is a serious craze for habanero peppers here in Japan. So they are trying to market to everyone! I read in the paper that Japan is now the largest importer of these peppers from Mexico. Wow!!!

These are a brand new addition to the Tohato Habanero line. To be honest I have no idea what they taste like as my husband hasn't been able to try them yet. Kuro means black. Judging by the picture he breathes black fire. While his brother above breathes red fire... They still look mighty hot so eat at your own risk!! The tin contains 4 individually wrapped bags of 45 grams each. The tin measures 7.5" in diameter and 2.75" tall.
